New Game Design??? New Weapons??? … and VFX??? What the Hell, yeah… One of the major sides in developing Wild Radio Flux has been making the code as flexible as possible. F… saying, that’s been very hard, but wow guys! This means having a game based on seasons, moddable, and expandable with new characters, game seasons and soundtracks.
But this aspect of the source code required to develop every part of the game simultaneously (I hope it’s worth it!!!).
Now we can finally dedicate more attention to one of our favorite sides of this project: the new game design. Ok listen, we received a lot of precious feedback from our testers and we’ve seen a lot of new wishlists on the WRF Steam page. That’s awesome!! And we know now where to work in details in the making WRF more funny and entertaining!
Based on those feedback, developers are working hard and fast about a wider range of view, hidden bug fixes and especially making the game a bit easier because we see some frustration in our players. Damn K Storm Studio, I understand you want them to play hard but J… Ch… let them have fun!
Spoiler: just a couple of new game design aspects
And so we could finally change the character’s weapons (yeah I know… the previous idea was nice, but we prefer to have something less funny and more cool). As well as riching every single stage with more graphical assets, characters, enemies, and more.
There is one more thing the dev crew spoiled. The camera settings have been changed to provide more space and a wider view. This aspect allows players to have a clear vision of what happens on the screen. Stay tuned for new pics soon…!
