K Storm Studio gaming social marketplace is set to show tax-inclusive prices. So all product prices displayed on the platform are VAT-inclusive (where applicable).

Transaction fees

Payment processing fees are deducted automatically per transaction before payout. Please factor standard Stripe fees into your pricing. Stripe charges fees between 1.5% + £0.20p for UK transactions, up to 2.9% + £0.30p for international transactions. We recommend pricing with a small margin buffer to account for processing fees.

Marketplace commission: 16%.
Standard payment processing fees (approx. 3%) are deducted per transaction.

VAT & Tax Handling (For Vendors & Publishers)

K Storm Studio acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions processed through the marketplace. This means:

• The platform collects VAT from customers at the point of sale.
• VAT is calculated automatically and included in the listed product price.
• The platform is responsible for reporting and remitting VAT to HMRC.
• Vendors and publishers receive payouts excluding VAT.

Vendors are not required to charge or remit VAT on sales made through the platform, as tax obligations related to customer transactions are handled directly by K Storm Studio.

Payouts displayed in the vendor dashboard represent the net amount after deducting VAT and applicable platform and transaction fees (see above).

Payment Holds & Compliance

To comply with international anti-fraud regulations, payments may be temporarily held if:

• Payment method onboarding is incomplete
• Identity or business verification is required
• Disputes, refunds or fraud checks are in progress
